Cabaret Audition Information
First round auditions:
Thursday, September 15 and Friday, September 16 with audition times available from 7pm-11pm located in the UAC Office on the 4th floor of the Michigan Union
Dance Call (required):
Sunday, September 18 from 6:00-7:30pm for Guys and 7:30-9:00pm for Girls. Located in the Student Theatre Arts Complex (STAC) on South Campus near the Big House. Click here for directions. Please note that the Commuter South bus does NOT run on Sundays, so please plan accordingly.
Please wear clothes you can move in. Ladies, please bring character shoes if you have them.
Callbacks:
Tuesday, September 20 from 7pm-11pm in the UAC Office on the 4th floor of the Union
Audition sign up sheets will be available at the mass meeting on September 12. After that, they will be posted outside the UAC Office on the 4th floor of the Union. For the first round of auditions, please prepare two 16 bar cuts from the show or in the style of the show (Kander and Ebb, Kurt Weill, 1940s, jazzy). Selected cuts are posted below. ALSO, please prepare a two minute monologue that is time period appropriate (pre-1960s, no Shakespeare or verse). Selected monologues are also posted below.
